Plot
Almost three decades have passed since a deadly virus escaped from a biological weapons lab. Now, under strict quarantine, some have found ways to survive among the infected. One such group of survivors lives on a small island connected to the mainland by only one heavily fortified bridge. When one member of the group sets out on a dangerous mission into the dark heart of the infected land, he uncovers secrets, wonders, and horrors that have not only changed the infected but also other surviving humans.
