Plot

Your best friendship is worth fighting for.
From DreamWorks Animation — the studio that brought unforgettable stories of friendship between a boy and a dragon in «How to Train Your Dragon», an ogre and a donkey in «Shrek», and a robot and a gosling in «Wild Robot» — comes a new vibrant and emotional tale about two best friends who must come together before their paths diverge in «The Forgotten Island».

By chance, Jo and Raisa stumble upon a mysterious portal that transports them to the fantastic island of Nakali — a world filled with magical and mythological creatures they’ve heard about since childhood from their familial Filipino stories.
Some of these creatures will become friends, while others — foes. Together with a friendly yet clumsy werewolf-dog named Ro and a small but brave team of allies, Jo and Raisa must confront the Manananggal — the island's most terrifying creature.
When the girls discover that the cost of returning home might be the memories of their friendship, they embark on a desperate race to leave the island before they forget each other forever.
