Plot

The new film by Academy Award nominee Agnieszka Holland is a bold and contemporary story about a person whose name became a legend.

Workaholic, introvert, outsider—meet Franz Kafka. Between painful romances, fear of intimacy, and an irresistible need to write, he tries to break free from others' expectations and follow his own path. This is the story from childhood to the final days of a man who longed for an ordinary life but entered history as one of the most influential writers of the 20th century.
