Plot

Remake of the cult action movie based on Stephen King's novel «The Running Man».

In the near future, the world is divided into the elite and the proletariat. For some, life is a sequence of privileges, for others — a struggle for survival. The only chance to escape poverty is to participate in a deadly reality show «The Running Man», where hunters chase participants while viewers crave spectacle. Ben Richards (Glenn Powell), a desperate worker, becomes a contestant in the game to save his family. But he's not just a fugitive — he's a challenge to the system. Now, he is pursued not only by ruthless hunters (Lee Pace) but also by the creator of the show himself (Josh Brolin). To survive, he must change the rules of the game.
