Plot

High in the Alps, at the Great St. Bernard Pass, there is a monastery where monks raise dogs. One day, a boy named Georg arrives there and finds his best friend – a little puppy named Barry. However, the puppy turns out to be the weakest of the litter, and raising him becomes a true adventure. Challenges do not frighten the boy, and eventually, this very puppy grows up to become a legendary rescue dog known around the world.
