Trailer

Plot

«Rebellion: Behind the Scenes» — a documentary film about how the word «impossible» ceases to work. About the musical «Rebellion [1991]» created from scratch: from the first ideas and musical sketches to a grand tour. This is a story of a process where doubts, fatigue, and risk go hand in hand with faith in the idea.

Impossible — 196 costumes in two hours of stage time. Impossible — eight sold-out shows at the October Palace in 52 days by a team with an average age of 24. The film shows how these «impossibles» become daily work: auditions, rehearsals, tough decisions, deadlines, and responsibility for each choice.

«Rebellion: Behind the Scenes» — is about art born through tension. About a team that balances between exhaustion and faith. And about a story that reminds us: great changes always begin with inner defiance — and the courage to see it through to the end.

The screening is accompanied by a Q&A session with the creative team. Duration of the Q&A session – 1 hour 15 minutes.
