Plot

Sometimes ending up "in the wrong place" is exactly what you need.
A romantic comedy about a little lie, a grand Italian villa, and two people who unexpectedly get lost in an atmosphere of love.
Halle Bailey (The Little Mermaid, The Color Purple) plays Anna — a girl who gave up her dream of becoming a chef and found herself entangled in a series of unfortunate decisions. Losing her side job and accommodation, she accidentally meets a charming Italian, Matteo, who has a vacant villa in Tuscany. Against her friend's advice, Anna decides to go to Italy.

Her plan to spend the night at the villa "quietly" falls apart when Matteo's mother (Isabella Ferrari) unexpectedly arrives. In a panic, they pretend to be a loving couple, but things really heat up when Matteo's cousin appears, and sparks of chemistry fly between him and Anna.
