Plot

The story of a man who turned Ukrainian dance into an explosion of emotion and energy.

Pavlo Virsky — the choreographer who transformed the stage into a battlefield for beauty and freedom, and every movement — into a small theater. The legendary Virsky Ensemble conquered stages from Paris to Tokyo, earned standing ovations in the world's most prestigious halls, and compelled audiences to applaud fervently. From breathtaking hopaks to complex multifigure compositions, his masterful productions set a benchmark of excellence that no one has surpassed to this day.

Archival footage, memories of friends and students, incredible performances, and backstage secrets reveal how his dance survived wars, censorship, and time to continue inspiring and astonishing audiences even today.
