Movies in the MULTIPLEX network in the genreCrime

The time frame of the emergence of the criminal genre is very blurred. The first of them date back to America in the 20-30s and actively combine the features of real historical events - the main characteristic is the presence of crime, murder or bloody shootouts. The second ones belong to European society, mainly to Italy and, of course, Sicily. The third are on the dawn of gangsterism and criminal groups of the 40s. New crime films are characterized not just as gangster films - the genre covers a much wider spectrum of actions, not only in time but also in the range of actions. The plot is based on the commission of a crime in various forms - this includes incredibly savage maniacs, the murder of criminal group leaders, an attempt on criminal authority ("John Wick," "Lucky Number Slevin"), arson and terrorist attacks. The best crime films try to show the viewer the mutilations of society that are relevant today - the thriving shadow economy, the Mafia ("Johnny D"), prostitution, modern opportunities of the darknet, corruption and drug trafficking ("13th district"). The classics of the criminal cinema, with its incredible pursuits and the whistle of bullets, creates that forbidden romance that is missing for ordinary citizens, forcing them to clench their armrests in tension.
